From Self-Taught AI Learner to Google Developer Expert
I'm Geeta Kakrani — a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in AI/ML, AI Consultant, and community builder based in Bengaluru. My journey started in 2003 as a freelancer teaching engineering students, and over two decades evolved into deep expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, AI-TPU infrastructure, and Gemma model cost efficiency.
I founded KanishkaIT in 2010 — growing it from a small web & .NET/PHP client shop into a serious AI training firm. By 2016, I pivoted fully into AI education, teaching IIT students and building my own expertise in ML, DL, and NLP from the ground up. I earned my GDE status in 2024 — the culmination of years of self-learning, community leadership, and technical sessions delivered across conferences, colleges, and corporate events.
In 2025, I moved to Bengaluru for a fresh start — now focused entirely on AI Consulting: Fractional AI Advisory, AI Strategy, and AI Audits for companies that want to go beyond proof-of-concept.
